Saroj believes Balwant only used Dhanraj for his business. Balwant denies this and asks Saroj what he wants. She demands half his business. Indrani and Saroj then get into a fight. Indrani insults and slaps Saroj. Balwant dies later due to his declining health.

18 Years Later

Saroj hates Indrani’s family for insulting him. Sayuri, Sharma’s eldest child and a professor by profession, hates Krishna because she believes he is responsible for the hatred between both families. Sayuri and Choudhary’s eldest child, Chiranjeevi(Chiru), love each other and want to get married. They convince their family, especially Saroj. The wedding preparations begin, but unfortunately, Chiru dies in an accident on his wedding day.

Kanha marries Sayuri to fulfill his promise to Chiru. Saroj refuses to accept Sayuri’s role as Saroj’s daughter-in-law. Anjali, Kanha’s ex-lover, tries to cause problems between Kanha, Sayuri, and Saroj because she wants to get married to him. Kanha and Sayuri start as friends, and then they admire each other. Later, they realize that they love each other. Saroj still cannot accept Sayuri. Saroj accepts Sayuri after Sayuri reveals that she is pregnant.

Rashmi and Kanha’s younger sibling, Nakul, confess their love to each other. Saroj accepts Rashmi and Nakul’s proposal. Rashmi becomes jealous of Sayuri’s status in the family and begins to hate her. Saroj accepts Rishi’s marriage proposal for Kusum, but Rishi tortures and abuses her. Sayuri and Kanha send Rishi to prison after discovering the truth. Rishi escapes from jail and kidnaps Kusum. Sayuri saves Kusum when Rishi attacks her. Sayuri miscarries. Sayuri’s friends Yash and Kusum fall in love. Later, Yash & Kusum and Nakul & Rashmi marry. Rashmi tells Sayuri she can’t have a child to cause problems between Kanha, Sayuri, and Rashmi. Later, Sayuri exposes Rashmi to Kanha and decides to rid Sayuri. Rashmi pushes Sayuri over the cliff when Sayuri, Kanha, and Nakul go to worship their family deity.

1 year later

Rashmi still has nightmares a year after the incident. She has also given birth to a child with Nakul. Kanha still cannot accept Sayuri’s passing, and his relationship has suffered. Kanha is injured in an accident on his way to work. Dr. Vikrant then saves him. He sees Vikrant’s wife, Sanchi, who looks like Sayuri, and their daughter Kuku. He believes Saachi is Sayuri and becomes delighted. Saachi is Sayuri, and she does not tell Kanha the truth because she and Kahna’s daughter are with Vikrant. Vikrant threatens Sayuri, saying he will harm Kahna’s daughter if she tells Kanha the truth. Kanha decides that he will find out the truth and bring Sayuri home. Rashmi’s shock at learning that Sayuri is still alive is overwhelming.
With Yash’s help, Kanha meets Mittu and later suspects the truth. Sayuri discovers the body of Saachi in the storeroom and realizes Vikrant murdered her. Sayuri and Kanha strategize against Vikrant.

Sayuri plans to pretend to love Vikrant and asks him to bring Mittu & Kuku to the wedding. Rashmi, who is confident that they will be successful, makes Vikrant see through Sayuri’s trick by telling Sayuri to him in front of Vikrant that Kanha is coming with help. Rashmi is trying to throw Mittu away when she meets Indrani, Nakul, and Vikrant. Kanha knew that Indrani, Nakul, and Indrani had realized Sayuri’s existence. Kanha then arrives and says Mittu is his daughter from Sayuri.

Kanha continues to search for Sayuri while Vikrant hides in Sayuri. Faiba and Kuku are at his door, and he takes Kuku in. Kuku helps him find Vikrant and Sayuri. Vikrant then takes Sayuri away at gunpoint. Vikrant’s and Sayuri’s car crashes during the chase. Kanha saves Sayuri just before the car explosions. Vikrant is killed.

Saroj hires Ravi to sell masks to make Sayuri think she’s crazy. Saroj is convinced that Mittu, Kanha’s child, is not the daughter of Kanha and wants Sayuri to leave their lives. Kanha, however, suspects that someone is scaring Sayuri. She catches Ravi. Ravi accuses Rashmi of being the mastermind. Rashmi goes to jail when Sayuri reveals that Rashmi pushed her over the cliff. Saroj overheard Rashmi’s conversation with Sayuri, and he knew that Sayuri wouldn’t trust Rashmi in the event of a false accusation. Nakul withdraws from society after learning of his wife’s crimes.

Sayuri presents DNA reports that prove Mittu is Kanha’s child.
Sayuri and Kanha find Chamanbahar and bring her back home. They didn’t know she was planning to enter their house all along. Chaman is hired as a maid, but she soon seizes control of the house.
